COCKPIT FIRE SWITCHES

 

"Cockpit Fire Switches" These red handles are used to activate the fire suppression system in engine 1, engine 2, or the APU on board the 737-300. The flight crew extinguishes a fire by twisting the red handles which will also shut the fuel off.  The Boeing 737-300 cockpit is laid out to access any control within arms reach of either crewmember.
